:Haven't gotten it yet, every time there is darkspawn now I just go solo and turn everyone's tactics off, deleted patches(even tho i have the ultimate edition), still trying, and also have no expansions installed just incase. This one and the traveler trophy are the only ones i need, and that one is a huge pain in my ass too... the guide on this wiki didn't seem to work for me...Skursky (talk) 03:56, May 20, 2011 (UTC)

:You can go ahead and put the patch back on cause the only patch for the UE is for witch hunt. And you can also go ahead and add back the dlcs and awakening, because having them installed doesn't hurt (or help, but why not just install it anyway) Traveler works fine (far as I know, the guide on here "should" help, but if you do not know that certain origin story locations count towards it so keep that in mind if you haven't explored all the origins stories, there are some places you can't go back to, ie highever, circle tower area that's locked up later, marethari's camp and others. (ps... you'll get blight queller eventually. Like between Sevarian10 and myself both got it during Awakening) Tommyspa (talk) 04:31, May 20, 2011 (UTC)

Is this also true for the Xbox 360 version? Because I have killed well over 2,000, with only the first kill achievment unlocking. I have the Ultimate Edition, if that helps.Croc484 (talk) 12:51, May 20, 2011 (UTC)Croc484

Forums: Index > Game DiscussionInquiry about "Blight-Queller" acheivement in DA:O

As the title suggests, I need help with the achievement "Blight-Queller" for DA:O. Now, I know that in order to get this achievement you need to have killed 1000 darkspawn, but when I did do this, I only got the "Master Warden" achievement (kill 500 darkspawn), which doesn't make sense since I should have gotten this one 500 darkspawn ago. Is this achievement bugged, or is there a way to actually get around this? If it makes a difference, I play on the PS3 version of the game.

Any help would be appreciated :) Sevarian10 (talk) 22:29, May 11, 2011 (UTC)Sevarian10

When I had an original (PS3) copy of the game I was able to get the trophy. But I didn't get in my first playthrough so I can't confirm if it counts other playthroughs to the total. But I now have the Ultimate Edition, and I don't have that trophy, and I've killed well over 1000 in total. Sadly in my last playthrough I killed 965 DS.

But to actually be helpful there are a few suggested ways to fix it, it is a bug. Delete the patch in your game data folder, not the game data itself, just the patch, once you do that don't repatch it, disable the internet connection. (If you only have the Ultimate Edition, you don't have this option cause it is auto patched in the game data itself.) Some also say it has to be the warden to kill that many darkspawn. (This is just all stuff I've read on other forums, I never had to test these myself, but I originally got the trophy with unpatched offline playthroughs, I don't have wireless or broadband so my ps3 was never online at all.) Aww crud. Unfortunately I do have the Ultimate Edition of the game, so I guess I can't get rid of the patch then. Aw well, at least I know now. Thanks for the help! Sevarian10 (talk) 23:28, May 11, 2011 (UTC)Sevarian10
An Update. Turns out I got it, it triggered during Awakening, but it doesn't seem to trigger when it should, but if you really want it, just play more cause it's an awesome game. It'll come eventually, lol. Tommyspa (talk) 21:32, May 19, 2011 (UTC)
FINALLY I got it! You were right, it does come up during Awakening, which I find odd cuz in my first play of the DLC, I never got it, even after playing GOA and Witch Hunt. Strange glitch is strange lol XD Thanks for the help! Sevarian10 (talk) 00:26, May 20, 2011 (UTC)Sevarian10
