I think I'll go with Kirkwall. No specific reason why, but I guess it'd be cool. Tevinter would be a second choice. --biscuitmix (talk) 19:10, October 18, 2010 (UTC)

Maybe Antiva, sure it's gotta be pure choas most of the time, but I gotta admit I like a democracy better than a monarchy. Eveangaline (talk) 20:02, October 18, 2010 (UTC)

I'd pick Dalish - travel around, see new places, meet new people and kill them, sounds very fun - if only they weren't elves; can't stand them buggers. Thus, dwarves. Seems the only place you could more or less live a passable life if you weren't a noble or a rich merchant. Qunandar, of course. Qunari are the most epic group in Thedas, and it would be interesting to see their way of life in their capital city. I'd either want to be a warrior of the Antaam or an agent of the Ben-Hassrath like Iron Bull. Arishok88 (talk) 16:27. December 22, 2014 (UTC)

So, if you could enter the Dragon Age world and could live in any nation within Thedas, where would it be and why? For me, it would be Val Royeaux in Orlias, simply because Leliana's description makes it sound so perfect. King Cousland (talk)

That be exactly why I wouldn't go to to Val Royeaux. I think I'll stick with Highever or maybe one of the city states of The Free Marches. The only part of Orlais is the political intrigue of the bards, in other words spying and assassinating, along with some other minor entertainments. Kheva Cousland (talk) 17:47, October 18, 2010 (UTC)

Hmmm, tough one, but I'd have to agree with Kheva Cousland, Highever would be pretty much the first choice. Either that or Nevarra. --Madasamadthing (talk) 18:16, October 18, 2010 (UTC)

Flemeth's Hut ;) Reason? It's like the only place UNTOUCHED by darkspawn invasions or political intrigue or thieves or war etc etc. It's just a nice little cabin, in a fairly picturesque forest surrounding. Plus maybe I'd learn some badass magics. Zambingo (talk) 10/18/2010

I would pick Vyrantium. It is one of the bigest cities in Tevinter (but not the capital, never pick the capital). It lies right at the brink of a river and out to the Nocen bay/sea. I'm sure it's beautiful.
I would pick Tevinter, because everyone anywhere else is insane. They properly are are too, but at least they are in a more fun way.-rphb- (talk) 18:29, October 18, 2010 (UTC)

I'd like Antiva, preferable one of their smaller towns but not too far from Antiva City. Being a landowner would be nice, I'd want to run a vineyard but according to Zevran wine-making is Chantry domain in Antiva, so maybe some kind of orchard. --Aedan Cousland (talk) 18:34, October 18, 2010 (UTC)

With The dwarves in Orzammar of course--RIGGNAROCK (talk) 20:45, October 18, 2010 (UTC)

Seeing how the only nations we've seen are Ferelden and Orzammar, I'm going to go with Ferelden, with the caveat I reserve the right to change my mind once we experience Kirkwall and the Free Marches. Gruedragon (talk) 21:14, October 18, 2010 (UTC)

The glittering gem Antiva City. It's warm, the food and wine are good and there are plenty of, ahem, entertainments. --TropicalFool (talk) 21:16, October 18, 2010 (UTC)

Rivain, maybe the Anderfells. Rivain sounds nice with the more equality with elves, and Anderfells... I just like the name really. The Bard From Hell (talk) 21:21, October 18, 2010 (UTC)

Since Flemeth's Hut isn't a nation. :D I'll pick another scenario... A Homeless Nation, the Dalish. Technically they don't have a nation, technically they are gypsies... but that is why I'd pick them. They have a 'with nature' existence, have magics, have medicine, science, philosophy and are capable warriors. Beyond all of that they are survivors. Seems like a good nation to shack up with. So that's who I would pick if Flemeth's Hut is an invalid dwelling place. :) Zambingo (talk) 10/18/2010

Antiva since Antivans sound like my kind of people XD --Yash7 (talk) 22:45, October 18, 2010 (UTC)

Like TropicalFool said, Antiva is full of "entertainments" so... I think as long as i didn't get assaniated it would be fun! Yash7 (talk) 22:49, October 18, 2010 (UTC)

i don't think i would like antiva risk of assassination is too high, back to the subject, i would probably pick orlais, with what leiliana says theres a lot of girl on girl action. AWSHISUN! --Jotun cousland (talk) 23:47, October 18, 2010 (UTC)

Either Nevarra or Rivain. With Nevarra, somewhere close to the Waking Sea. And with Rivain, somewhere near the southern tip near the ocean and Llomerynn (I was a Dalish in my first playthrough and are quite fond of them) Antiva would be really nice, but their women cant be in combat..(sadface).. Orlais pulled at me for a moment, just for the arts and having all the bards, but then the..... I dont know, eh-herm, -Leliana, "SHOES!!!!"-, styles, and the way they act made me seriously reconsider. DalishAssassin (talk) 00:39, October 19, 2010 (UTC)

Hmmm, the city of Cumberland and the Cirle of Magi's College of Enchanter's is in Southern Nevarra, that seems like it would be a pretty good place to be a non-apostate mage. Cumberland is also a major port city, all the better for going on vacation to all those other wonderful place's in Thedas. I might have to reconsider my choice for Antiva. In so far as women fighting in Antiva, they can so long as they are member's of the Crows, and if you're a loyal member I doubt you have to worry so much about assassination. --Aedan Cousland (talk) 01:41, October 19, 2010 (UTC)

@Aeden Cousland, Antiva it is! (or Nevarra) DalishAssassin (talk) 02:37, October 19, 2010 (UTC)

I would live live next to the Hermit.................Because I want to, dammit. —Rocketai (тalk сontr) 02:59, October 19, 2010 (UTC)

Not sure why but Rivain Silent 1 October 19, 2010 (UTC)

I would definitely go to Mont-de-glace, Orlais. While we know nothing about it except that it's a snowy-wonderland in southernmost Orlais, I am very intrigued by it. The first time I saw it on the map of Thedas, I was drawn to it for some reason. Maybe it was because of how cut-off it looked from the rest of the world, or maybe that I imagine it much like an icy, white, shimmering kingdom. I'm used to snow that wouldn't affect me much. NutMeg29 02:07, December 22, 2014 (UTC)

Despite being Italian, probably not Antiva. Definitely not Orlais; I'm paranoid enough, thank you. Par Vollen I'd either be living with the Qunari, which is bad, or with the Fex, who we know nothing about, so no. I don't enjoy getting sacrificed for the amusement of nobles, so Tevinter is a no-no. Nevarra has a man whose sanity is questionable ruling it, so I'm going to say no. Not the Free Marches because there's always bad stuff going on there. I don't like cheese, so not the Anderfels. Also, Anders is from the Anderfels, so who knows what other psychopaths they might have there. Ferelden has either Alistair or Anora ruling it so there's no way in hell would ever live there. Rivainis aren't Andrastians, have good relationships with the elves, little Qunari issues, and aren't completely insane, so I'm going with Rivain. StillAlive (talk) 02:32, December 22, 2014 (UTC)

I'd hate to say it, but probably Rivain. In a continent of turmoil, that place seems to be doing alright. But, since I love English weather, my heart would lead me to staying in Ferelden; probably in Denerim. Regardless, in such a continent, i'd end up becoming a traveller haha. Lazare326 13:40, December 22, 2014 (UTC)

Thedas sounds like a good place to fight for and visit, but I probably wouldn't be comfortable living there with the violence, racism, and lack of modern technology.--Observer Supreme 15:00, December 22, 2014 (UTC)

Par Vollen :D Not technically Thedas but you know Qun FTW :D Unless i would became mage in that case it would suck. Darthportus (talk) 23:02, December 22, 2014 (UTC)
