I'm wondering if The Warden would have or had a voice who would you want it to be ? thelonestar (talk) 06:28, July 7, 2011 (UTC)Thelonestar

As in... pick who to voice him/her? Not really picky. Just get the same people who did the "Violent, Cocky, Mystic, Wise etc." quotes and I'd be good. NwolC (talk) 07:38, July 7, 2011 (UTC)nwolC

A mute, any would do just so long as a voiced character didn't ruin the game again(though I can't give it credit for doing that alone).76.30.150.230 (talk) 07:41, July 7, 2011 (UTC)

Sean Connery :D :P Diain (talk) 08:05, July 7, 2011 (UTC)

Only myself, I'm afraid! Not because I have a great voice (it's terrible), but because I couldn't identify with it otherwise. The Silent PC mod [1] is an essential one, for me. -Sophia (talk) 08:21, July 7, 2011 (UTC)

I don't care who will voice the next protagonist so long as we get the option to turn the voice off. And if they use the dialogue tree rather than the wheel. I like to know what i'm about to say. And unfortunately I play on PS3 so I can't download mods. If they forced you to listen to the protagonist then i wouldn't mind Crispen Freeman. I still remember how well he voiced characters in other RPG games I've played, even when he wasn't the main character.NegativeCity (talk) 08:28, July 7, 2011 (UTC)

I prefer the protagonist not to talk. I really disliked Hawke for that reason.. I hope they go back to the silent type :)

Lilu 9 (talk) 10:39, July 7, 2011 (UTC)

I hate a silent protagonist its no use u just look like decor when u stand there and u just chose a line i saw bioware can lose the dialogue wheel and go for a witcher 1-2 type of dialogue system only more choices. TLS (talk) 10:46, July 7, 2011 (UTC)TLS

I don't mind being voiced, as long as I know exactly what I am going to say. The summaries at the dialogue wheel are owhere close to what Hawke actually says, and I end up choosing my responses according to the icon. Wow, what a fine example of role-playing 8( --Ygrain (talk) 10:51, July 7, 2011 (UTC)

I don't want a voice actor. Period. HOWEVER. I will love Bioware if the male protagonist is voiced by either Tim Curry or better yet, MORGAN FREEMAN. "My, my, isn't that something........--XeroSnake (talk) 15:41, July 7, 2011 (UTC)

I'm not sure I want to go back to "listen to the NPC talk, then choose a response that the PC doesn't speak, then listen to the NPC talk again, then choose another response that the PC doesn't speak, and so on". It seems to break the flow of the conversation when you're watching it happen on a playthrough. (VicGeorge2K9 (talk) 16:07, July 7, 2011 (UTC))

For a male Warden, anyone but Mark Meer. For a female Warden, Laura Bailey using her sexy, I'll-kill-you-just-by-looking-at-you voice. XIII Lightning (talk) 16:23, July 7, 2011 (UTC)

Personally, It would depend on the personality of the Warden. For my male dalish elf warden, I would like Johnny Yong Bosch to be the voice actor, due to the fact that I created this wardens personality based off of Lelouch Lamperouge of Code Geass. Theryx (talk) 19:11, July 7, 2011 (UTC)

Hey, guy, the only thing the Warden says is, "Can I get you a ladder? So you can get off my back!" If the Warden talks, he stops being my character. Hawke was NOT our character, whether you made him/her a diplomat, a wise ass, or an agressive dickhead, at the end of the day, it's bioware's character. Dragon Age 2 was a North American Final Fantasy game because of this voiced PC shit.HomelyDrugAddict (talk) 20:14, July 7, 2011 (UTC)

Human noble voiced by Viggo Mortenson, Mage voiced by Ian McKellen, Dalish elf by Orlando Bloom, Dwarf Noble by John Rhys-Davies, and dwarf commoner by the psychic lady in Poltergeist. Crimpycracker (talk) 01:10, July 8, 2011 (UTC)

No votes for Jim Gaffigan? Seriously though, I like Ewan McGregor, Nathan Fillion, Craig Ferguson, Patrick Stewart, Michael C. Hall, and Richard Dean Anderson for male voices. I like Lenora Crichlow (Annie from Being Human), Katee Sackhoff, Amanda Tapping, Eva Green or Milla Jovovich for the female. LVTDUDE (talk) 01:30, July 8, 2011 (UTC)

Christian Bale, doing Batman's voice ALL the time.

"WHERE IS HE?" "Dude, calm down, Fergus is upstairs with the missus and Oren."

"IT'S NOT WHO I AM UNDERNEATH, BUT WHAT I DO THAT DEFINES ME." "Yeah, ahh, that's cool, and stuff, but I uh, don't really wanna be king, and I wanna define myself... differently, and stuff, in winter."

"I WON'T KILL YOU. BUT I DON'T HAVE TO SAVE YOU." Morrigan Disapproves -12

"THEY TOLD ME THERE WAS NOTHING OUT THERE, NOTHING TO FEAR. BUT THE NIGHT MY PARENTS WERE MURDERED I CAUGHT A GLIMPSE OF SOMETHING. I'VE LOOKED FOR IT EVER SINCE. I WENT AROUND THE WORLD, SEARCHED IN ALL THE SHADOWS. AND THERE IS SOMETHING OUT THERE IN THE DARKNESS, SOMETHING TERRIFYING, SOMETHING THAT WILL NOT STOP UNTIL IT GETS REVENGE. [Pause] ME." "Well, 'parently Howe's in his dungeon, soooooo, check that shadow tiger." S13Kuro (talk) 03:26, July 8, 2011 (UTC) Lazer420 (talk) Wow, I think having Hawke talking was one of the best parts of the game! I always thought it was lame that the Warden just stood there with that lame look on his face when you spoke to someone.. I agree with Ygrain, I dislike not knowing what I’m about to say so hopefully this will be fixed in the next game. Lazer420 21:45, July 7, 2011 (UTC)

Mr.T. Discussion over. Andy the Black (talk) 05:03, July 8, 2011 (UTC)

For me, some one with an Irish accent and female, since the dalish clan are now Irish and you should consider the fact that your Warden will most likely have a English Accent, maybe Scottish since Ferelden is based on Medeval England and Hawke had a English accent, but your choice --Xxellenmaysongxx (talk) 09:39, July 8, 2011 (UTC)

Colm Meaney for male Dwarf Noble? (VicGeorge2K9 (talk) 15:59, July 8, 2011 (UTC))

Christopher Lambert would also be awesome ShakingApoc79 (talk) 16:04, July 8, 2011 (UTC)

Human male: Liam Neeson, no question. King of the Dusters (talk) 20:58, July 8, 2011 (UTC)

Mike Myers Angry Tank (talk) 04:16, July 9, 2011 (UTC)

Andy Whitfield, his voice is awesome as Spartacus, I think he would make a good Warden. --Drldrl (talk) 05:12, July 9, 2011 (UTC)

Male Human: Travis Willingham Female Human: Wendee Lee Male Elf: Vic Mignogna Female Elf: Laura Bailey Male Dwarf: Beau Billingslea Female Dwarf: Hedy Burress --VaultPaladin (talk) 07:11, July 9, 2011 (UTC)

Ya know, I wouldn't mind a completely voiceless warden if he/she had realistic expressions on his or her face, reflecting what's actually happening. It's the deer-in-the-headlights-automaton look that drives everybody crazy. How about a smile? A grimace, frown....anything. Proof that the warden actually has teeth and moving lips! LVTDUDE (talk) 16:25, July 9, 2011 (UTC)

Yeah, having the Warden be a constant Spock is rather annoying. (VicGeorge2K9 (talk) 16:53, July 9, 2011 (UTC))

The only one for voicing a Warden would be Jon St. John for a violent voice. But because he is already the one for Duke Nukem and the fact that Duke Nukem is unique... Nope, no voiced Warden please... Especially not if thinking "That's he/she gonna say!" when choosing a dialogue option but saying something completely different Teyx (talk) 17:34, July 9, 2011 (UTC)

If you people want a Warden that not only doesn't speak but also doesn't emote, then why not petition BioWare to make a Tranquil be a Warden? (VicGeorge2K9 (talk) 17:37, July 9, 2011 (UTC))

As a female id love to hear Christina Ricci :p PURRRRRShakingApoc79 (talk) 17:36, July 9, 2011 (UTC)
