Though hawke might be so tired from the random ambushes every 5 seconds on the way to the battle he might just collapse from fatigue once it starts.[[Special:Contributions/174.45.9.40|174.45.9.40]] ([[User talk:174.45.9.40|talk]]) 11:26, October 30, 2011 (UTC)

The OP seems to love this betting thing - the qunari vs dwarves, elves vs humans, Hawke vs Warden (round 42), but those pair-ups are always so booooooring and mundane. Why does no one ever comes up with, say, Dagna vs murder knife? The corpse Javaris cannot take boots off of vs Childer Grub? Ser Wesley's shield vs Wanka? Warden fights Hawke. Who wins? --Isolationistmagi (talk) 22:47, October 29, 2011 (UTC)

I know everyones gonna shit on my bonfire for this , but Hawke , I mean there both probably about the same they've both killed highdragons and shit , but Hawke's default attack speed is somewhat quicker , so he's bitchkick the warden all the way to Hogwarts.

Hawke, his DPS is higher than the Warden's. And when he uses an upgraded "Assassinate" it is in fact what the definition of "Button Awesome" is. Or if you are Mage-y Hawke doesn't have to telegraph his powerful attacks and doesn't shimmy-poke orbs at anyone. And Hawke killed an absurd amount of Blood Mages, and Blood Magic is ridiculously overpowered, along with pretty much every mage in DA2 that uses that orb of light attack that just annihilates everything. Most importantly Hawke doesn't have to stop in the middle of battle and get someone a ladder so they can get off his back. But the two will never fight, they will see each others battle prowess, then have sex instead. Tommyspa (talk) 23:29, October 29, 2011 (UTC)

I would say, it really depends on what class Hawke and the Warden belong to, cos for example while my rogue-archer Warden might not be so resistant against magic attack, she would probably stealth and kill Hawke from a distance. But if we simply talk about comparing skills and such, then I would say that the Warden wins, because by the end of Witch Hunt your Warden will be around level 35 and have at least 3 but most likely 4 specializations and optionally 2 unique powers. Hawke on the other hand is only around level 25 at the end of DA2 (for now), and only got 2 specializations, and has no unique skills. And from a story-telling point, the Warden has far more experience in battle than Hawke does.--SunyiNyufi (talk) 01:27, October 30, 2011 (UTC)

Not neccesiarly (I know I can't spell,) to take your example of a rogue vs. mage, if say that mage were an Arcane Warrior the rogue wouldn't be able to the armour (not a spelling mistake, I'm Canadian eh) well enough to defeat them in blow and the Mage would quickly gain the upper hand. It depends more on how the class fights rather the class itself.96.48.173.229 (talk) 07:04, October 30, 2011 (UTC)
The problem with your example is that technically mage Hawke can't be an Arcane Warrior. But even so by lvl 35 an archer Warden already has 2-3 bows with very decent armor penetration. So all in all I still say that since the Warden has more specializations, skills and talents, so he/she would still win.--SunyiNyufi (talk) 11:39, October 30, 2011 (UTC)

For my canon Hawke and Warden. Warden. Hawke is a pretty powerful maleficar yes but the Warden...is pretty much only surrpassed by Flemmeth (because she cheated death. Hey, the Warden hasa reason to kill Hawke now.)96.48.173.229 (talk) 01:58, October 30, 2011 (UTC)

To be clear I said my as in mine own canon as in the game saves I'm going to play first for every Dragon Age game I can.96.48.173.229 (talk) 02:02, October 30, 2011 (UTC)

In my opinion i think that as most people said the warden will win because my dalish warrior theron is a lvl 35 and if he does golems of amgarrak who knows and my hawke finished at lvl 27adding 2dlcs and that didnt make him have a higher lvl either...

Well let's see hawke would stand out in the middle of the battle ground waiting for the enemy to jump out at him, while the warden would sneak up and fire either an arrow or fire ball at his head, possibly a fiery arrow...assuming hawke had the health to survive that as a warrior he would have no ranged weapon and die before closing the gap.

Though hawke might be so tired from the random ambushes every 5 seconds on the way to the battle he might just collapse from fatigue once it starts.174.45.9.40 (talk) 11:26, October 30, 2011 (UTC)
