If you played the very last DLC; "Witch Hunt" and were able to connect the dots from the "Destiny" trailer, you will be inclined to aggre with me on this theory.

The last conversation Warden had with Morrigan at the end of the DLC (trying to avoid adding any spoilers) and the how Hawke defeated the scary creature at the end of the fight in the "Destiny" trailer supports it:

He started the fight as a regular blademaster. Than he was pushed enough to resort whatever magic he posessed but when nothing was enough, finally he summoned what seems to be arms of a giant creature(demon lord or maybe his inner arc demon :) ), which is beyond the magical lore of Thedas, to dismember his opponent and finish the combat.

Some deduction can be reached from the "destiny" lecture of Flemeth.

It maybe a stretch but try recall the scenes/dialogues about the child and think about the potential he can have than compare that to any living character from the Dragon Age world, whoelse can have that power?

p.s: at the end of the "Witch Hunt" the story of the Warden and the baby(or just the baby if didn't you go through with "Morrigan's Ritual" on the eve of the last battle) didn't come to a conclusion but started a whole new chapter (hence the theory)

No, the developers( and other people on this wiki me included) have stated that HAWKE IS NOT THE OLD GOD BABY.Thank you for reading--Gdubs (talk) 15:22, September 16, 2010 (UTC)

Of course he is. He traveled back in time to before he was born to be in Lothering. You're an idiot: a) buy a spellchecker b) read *anything* out there either from Bioware, indicating that Hawke is not Morrigan's child, or on here, saying the same thing before posting c) look at a time line showing that DA2 starts well before the end of Origins, never mind Witch Hunt. Morrigan's child was born after DA2 started. Tivadar (talk) 15:23, September 16, 2010 (UTC)

A) What did I misspell
B)??? I didnt understand that.
C)I have heard it starts a little bit before Lothering is attacked (so after your first main quest is completed)
D)You forgot colons(that is if you were trying to have them appear as you have written them ,if not then never mind)

Yes Morrigans child was born after DA2 starts but Hawke is born 25 years before Origins starts so I dont understand how those could be the same person.--Gdubs (talk) 15:35, September 16, 2010 (UTC)

-inhales- How many times was a thread like this created? I forgot... Man, the 'scary creature', 'demon' you're talking about it's a Qunari. Hawke was confirmed not to be the OGB months ago! I can't believe how there are still people out there thinking he is Morrigan's child! He is like 20 or 25 years when Lothering was attack! Remember? When you recruit Sten and Leliana? He is 20 years in that period, unless, of course, like Tivadar said, he traveled back in time! Seriously, though... People should pay attention and search on the forums before creating a useless thread. -- Rocketai (talk) 16:48, September 16, 2010 (UTC)
