So there's this gossiping couple that shows up that gossips about pairings and betrothals and stuff that shows up every once in a while. Are they supposed to be gossiping about your relationship or something else (maybe that matchmaker mission from the war table?)

Because they started gossiping about someone being "committed to independence" and then after I started my romance arc with Solas, one of them started saying something about preferring a highborn scandal but then they were talking about betrothals and crap.

But towards the end of the game, they were saying things about "the happy couple" and wedding bells when *SPOILERS* that's definitely NOT how the romance ended. But one of the romance pages say that couple is supposed to be gossiping about you so I'm kind of confused and not knowing who they are talking about is driving me insane.

No, they are gossiping about your Inky and their LI. I think the different gossip triggers at certain points in the romance, e.g flirting, when the 'courting' begins, completion of the romance quest/locking it in. Honestly when I first heard them I thought it was somebody else the orleshians were gossiping about. Perhaps it was meant to be just for set LI's? I don't know. I've heard them talking about all three romances I've perused so far: Josephine, Solas, and Cassandra. My guess is they probably have the same comments for all romances. It's justified since they are just gossipers and don't know the whole truth. Silver Warden (talk) 20:46, April 11, 2015 (UTC)
