In the Trespasser, there are several areas with blue flame barriers. How does one get around those?

Once you use the mark to open the first mosaic door, you gain a new ability to make your party temporarily invulnerable and automatically generate focus. Whack that on and run through the fire. Then switch to another party member and run away. Regroup brings everyone back together, without having to do it twice. Depends on what console you play to active but on PS4 its L2 + search button. So assume its the change abilities buttone plus another one on other console/pc.DeakialSig1 20:25, September 16, 2015 (UTC)

Basically, whatever console you play on, once you get the new abilty for the Anchor, gained during the first venture through the eluvian, using the combination of "change ability to second set" button combined with the "scan/search function" button you activate your invulnerability and can go through the horrid insta kill flames. Apologies, I just re read my above post and realised it wasnt really very clear.

Actually, the button on PC is =, since the Anchor Discharge ability replaces summoning your mount.67.193.194.141 (talk) 22:31, September 16, 2015 (UTC)

There are other ways, Dorian has an ability which when he dies allows a sprirt to take hi form i use that to get through it before i get the anchors ability, though using the an hor ability is the easier way if youre a bit more patientBlitzbear93 (talk) 10:19, September 17, 2015 (UTC)Blitzbear93

Fade cloak, barrier (possibly paired up with something like evade/fade step/combar roll), simulacrum, walking fortress or anchor discharge all do the job.--ssalgnikool (talk) 10:27, September 17, 2015 (UTC)

Yep, I did my first playthrough of Trespasser with walking fortress ability. Didn't realize this new anchor ability makes party invulnerable and can be used this way :D I was using it only as damage later in DLC :D Katschaba (talk) 16:03, September 17, 2015 (UTC)

It's actually not insta-kill. If you have high enough HP you can touch it once and survive. Touch it again and you'll die, but you'll reappear on the other side near the rest of the party. I think you only need to go though the flames one time in order to get whatever's there, so this technique works if you don't mind spearing a potion or two. Of course, everything mentioned above is a much better way to deal with them. Silver Warden (talk) 20:51, September 17, 2015 (UTC)

Not sure if difficulty makes a difference but basically I just cast a barrier on the Inquisitor and then run through - with mages I usually fadestep if there's room, which exposes you to the fire for an even shorter time. I never really have a problem with the fire this way. All other suggestions above seem like good ideas, as well. --Liaison Shaw (talk) 21:47, September 17, 2015 (UTC)
