This game breaking bug or glitch happens to me, when I enter the first Eluvian at the Winter Palace. When I go through it, the game locks into a loading screen, that never ends. I had it sit there for nearly 10 minutes, and nothing happened... it just sat there. I restarted the DLC twice, and this happens every time. The loading screen will just not go away to the party selection screen, like it should.

This is on a PC, btw. It pisses me off so very royally, cause I did a completely clean install for the game, as I had mods in it before. I played it all through for the last week, in over 50 hours. And now that I get to the thing I was waiting for, this happens... So yeah... this sucks so very much.

Anyone have any suggestions or possible solutions? Joupena (talk) 16:23, September 16, 2015 (UTC)

Sounds like a graphics issue to me. Try changing your V-Sync configurations or reinstalling your drivers or failing all that lowering the graphics settings. Do you use an AMD card? If so try switching to Mantle (and if Mantle is already on, switch to Direct3D instead) and see where that gets you.--ssalgnikool (talk) 16:35, September 16, 2015 (UTC)

I have an Nvidia GTX 780 Ti.

This is very bizzare. It might have something to do with that I launch the game through a shortcut, that forces 60 fps instead of 30 on the cutscenes.

I now launched the game through Origin, which launches it normally, without the framerate fix. I loaded an autosave, which then planted me straight to the Crossroads, where you get after selecting your party. Only I was alone, and I went through the Eluvian. When I went through it again, on the other side, to try to bring up the party selection screen, the loading screen glitch happens again.

I'll try the V-Sync option, and those others now; see if it changes anything. Joupena (talk) 16:52, September 16, 2015 (UTC)

Okay, the V-Sync fix worked... or so it seems. The game loads now properly, even with the 60 fps fix. I'll keep my eye on it, but I think it was the reason for this.

Thank you for the help! Joupena (talk) 17:02, September 16, 2015 (UTC)
