Hi Im new to the wiki ut Ive been playing DAO for some time now and I was thinking that wouldent it be awesome if you could become a golem, like during "A Paragon of Her Kind" if you sided with Caridin one option would be to become a golem. --Jgarcia513 (talk) 07:07, December 12, 2010 (UTC)

Caridin would never do that, and I wouldn't trust Branka after having the Anvil for a mere hour at most. If she became proficent in it's use I would then not trust her to let me keep my mind, and even if she did I would be bound to the Anvil, and others could craft a control rod that would affect me. Also the whole "you never die" bit is not something I'm fond of. All things must die.

Well, I suppose you could always take Caridin's swan dive and end your life, but yeah, the potential for someone to fashion a control rod to manipulate me kinda ruins immortality for me too!! DarkosCY (talk) 08:39, December 12, 2010 (UTC)

Eh the golem thing is a big no no for me. I loved hangin with Shale and all, but I'm way too picky when it comes to characters. I always want them to be "pretty" I guess is the best way to describe it. As for immortal I'd like to role play and say my human mage eventually found a way to rid himself from the taint and then became an immortal. --Xiorath (talk) 09:58, December 12, 2010 (UTC)

That doesn't sound... Healthy... Like Knight Templar said, Caridin would never do such a thing. He himself says that he never wants to do another golem again and Branka is too crazy for me so I never side with her. Also, Shale is already a good adition to the party, no need for another golem... Not only that, how would we romance?! Imagine how horrible it would be! And shooooooesssss! I would never be able to use shooooooessss again! D: —Rocketai (Ho there! You could romace Peebles Flintstone! Bad joke, I know. The Bard From Hell (talk) 16:59, December 12, 2010 (UTC)
Or Shale herself! I can just see our Warden-turned-golem sharing a romantic dinner of dead pigeons with Shale xD DarkosCY (talk) 22:19, December 12, 2010 (UTC)
Dead... Pigeons? Er... Shale would throw up at the first second you mention it's dinner ("Ooh, Golem vomit! This I have to see..."). She hates birds so, tecnically, she finds them disgusting and eating them is the same as eating... Poop. Also, I think it would be interesting Golem romance! Yayyy... Stone porn. —Rocketai (Ho there! "Oh baby, you're as hard as stone! Oh wait, you are made of stone..." The Bard From Hell (talk) 18:57, December 13, 2010 (UTC)
yeah and have a big and stony family? nah...wont work... anyway, becoming a golem would be great at first but the knowledge that someone could and would make a rod for you will always haunt you, no? Chromeskyzero (talk) 05:37, December 13, 2010 (UTC)
Caradin was apparently powerful enough that a control rod could not be crafted for him, you've got to wonder where that line is drawn. The Warden is a pretty powerful individual after all, it wouldn't be surprising if they were in the same boat as him insofar as control rods.  ✪Aedan Cousland | Talk | Contr 16:16, December 13, 2010 (UTC)
An excellent point, but would you really want to risk it? Part of me would love to see someone try to craft a control rod, then watch me squish them...but I wouldn't want to risk being chiseled down like poor Shale. TraumaKitty 09:42, December 14, 2010 (UTC)

Also, if you became a golem, how would you get through doors?--Alexiolio (talk) 17:52, December 14, 2010 (UTC)

Shale could go through doors easily because she got small... With a chisel... "And a lot of nerve". —Rocketai (Ho there! Chase my tail!) 20:06, December 14, 2010 (UTC)
