Don't know if I have a favourite - it sorta depends on my mood. Human noble origin is what I tend to play the most, but in some ways that makes playing the other origins more fun, because of the differences. My human noble tends to be the questing Arthurian knight-type (though he's often a rogue-class - there are just too many locks in Cousland Castle to resist); he's respectful, always willing to stop and help, always tries to do the 'right thing', etc. My Dwarf noble was much darker - intrigue and assassination are food and drink to him and very much believes the the superiority of nobles over the 'common folk' (he'd make a perfect Orlesian). My Dwarf commoner started out as a nice guy who gradually becomes very cynical and manipulative - he figures everyone else is out for themselves only, so he's determined to outdo them and end up on top. My city elf was mad-at-the-world guy with a chip on his shoulder the size of Mt. Sundermount, but I made him a devout Andrastean as a plot twist - in some ways, he's my favourite because he often ends up surprising me and I'm never sure how he's going to react to a situation until he's hip-deep in it. And my elven-mage lass was just so d@mn grateful/happy to get out of the Circle that she determined to live life to the fullest, is irreverent to everyone and everything and a real party girl - a blonde elven mage version of Isabela in some ways. I like all the Origin stories a lot, but if I had to pick one it would be the Human Noble as the story that resonated most with me! I have been thinking about what origin I should do but I just can't decide! I want to be a rogue but I also kinda want to be a mage! It's beginning to annoy me so I have decided to seek outside help. Tell me what your favourite origins are and then I'll decide what one to do. Thanks! Dragonage17101996 (talk) 08:57, November 26, 2011 (UTC)

I think that my fave origins has been Dalish Elven Origin and Dwarf Noble Origin. Mostly because of how much it effects the story when you return to the Dalish (how nice they are to you) and to Orzammar (How everyone hate you).--Ser Mea (talk) 10:32, November 26, 2011 (UTC)

Human Noble, its for me, the Origin that pulls you into the story and gives you perhaps more motivation to end Loghain and Howe's reign. --Madasamadthing (talk) 13:43, November 26, 2011 (UTC)

Magi has got to be my favorite(go figure) yet my canon warden is dalish. --Isolationistmagi (talk) 16:00, November 26, 2011 (UTC)

City Elf, hands down. Return to the Alienage, kill the tevinters and see your family. One of the greatest moments in the game when you talk to your father after freeing him. Also gives you a good reason to kill Loghain. S BenDev (talk) 16:19, November 26, 2011 (UTC)
