In Dragon Age: The Masked Empire happens a rebelion of elves against man kind in Orlais. They aren't Dalish, but city elves. Do you think The Inquisitor will have a chance to meet them? I do and I think they will be nice to elven PC unlike to any other race. In worst scenario they will be adversaries like Venatori. What do you think?78.8.136.83 (talk) 09:28, September 16, 2013 (UTC)StubbornMageSlayer

Or they could be Three Eighths Dalish, a Quarter former slaves and a Fifth City Elves.--Madasamadthing (talk) 13:46, September 16, 2013 (UTC)

I was talking about city elves in Orlais.78.8.136.83 (talk) 14:00, September 16, 2013 (UTC)
And I was making fun of your title. It should be faction, not fraction.
Faction - A group of people, especially within a political organization, who express a shared belief or opinion different from people who are not part of the group.
Fraction - A ratio of two numbers, the numerator and the denominator, usually written one above the other and separated by a horizontal bar.
And before anyone calls me mean/a dick/something else, I am a sarcastic smartass. Big difference. --Madasamadthing (talk) 15:25, September 16, 2013 (UTC)

Make your point all you want Dave, but you lost your argument as soon as you called him an ass and made it seem personal. Don't. Especially towards someone whose been here for a long time. And given the circumstances here, and the dripping freaking irony, it was pretty damn funny. The Grey Unknown (talk) 23:51, September 17, 2013 (UTC)

All right, fine. I don't know all that much about the forthcoming book so I can't say for sure, but it looks entirely possible that anything going on in Orlais could possibly come up in the game. Though it might be one of those situations where you have the choice as to whether or not to get involved. And Bioware has already stated that the race you play does have some effect on how other races act towards the Inquisitor--they specifically use elves as an example.

So yes, it's possible, and yes, I think they'd be nicer to an elven Inquisitor than to any other race of Inquisitor. Kelcat (talk) 17:00, September 16, 2013 (UTC)

...I've always dreamed of there being some sort of elvish rebellion! Totally willing to help them out with that if it even happens, if not, give meh a slave rebellion! Tevinter has an abundance and it could mean a possible Fenris return! --Munro23 (talk) 19:33, September 16, 2013 (UTC)

I suspect elven rise in Orlais sooner than in Tevinter, in the latter we'll encouncter Venatori, a group of warriors created against the magisters. If you want rebelion in Tevinter, then maybe you could talk with them after killing the most hostile of them in 1st place. I think they plan a successful revolt against the Imperium and constant slave rises Fenris spoke of are not supported by Venatori, they use them as a decoy to revert attention of magisters from the real threat.78.8.136.83 (talk) 14:30, September 17, 2013 (UTC)StubbornMageSlayer

Bioware plan to shatter the whole world of thedas at the same moment the tear open, they prepare the world to accept whatever the Inquisition will do, when everybody fight everybody and only one new organization turn to fight the real threat and win (most likely) the whole world will have to bow to it and it's decisions, so I expect slave revolt in Tevinter, elf rebel in Olrias plus civil war, ferelden didn't recover after blight yet free marches almost destroyed (kirkwall already in pieces, and starkhaven has a fight over the throne) , a new blight somewhere far north west or north east, and and even the darkspawns might still have the civil war going, plus the standard mages-templars war.. and every other nation would have such deep problems, matter is, if Bioware plan something big , they might surprise us with assassin-creed like system of sending agents far away to other cities that you can't reach to solve problems there (or make ones), even if they plan to go deeper you might send one of your companions in head of such missions, and when s/he return s/he tell you in few details what happened and what was the result .. that would be good way to go Elnawawi (talk) 02:31, September 18, 2013 (UTC)

Elves will listen to an elven Inquisitor with respect higher than towards other races and it's obvious.78.9.148.79 (talk) 12:25, November 2, 2013 (UTC)

Personally I would be kind of interested to see how the interaction between Dalish and City Elves play out, given how the Dalish seem to have a snobbish attitude towards the City Elves.I can see the City Elves resenting how the Dalish have stood apart from them and not shared in their hardships.Secondly would Rebellion by City Elves affect Dalish e.g. reprisal attacks by Chevaliers also target the Dalish.Thirdly as for Elven Fraction I imagine that it would be quarter as in "hung, drawn and Quartered" BA-DUM :).Oso27us (talk) 18:46, November 4, 2013 (UTC)
Elves are the smallest in numbers, I hope they won't extinct.78.8.142.44 (talk) 10:20, November 7, 2013 (UTC)

Um Oso27us, The City Elves CHOSE to live in the cities, how can they blame the Dalish for that? The Dalish look down on the City Elves because they chose to bow down to humans. The Dalish care about their city cousins however and want to help all Elves learn about where they come from when they get a homeland (hopefully multiple ones) again. Seeing as my first Inquisitor will be an Elven mage, I'll be all over any opportunity to help my people. I've always been fascinated with the Elves of the DA world (minus the horrible appearance given to them in DA2) over the other races and it will be interesting to see how my Dalsih Elf, City Elf, and Mage Elf Wardens effected the world. I hope the Elves can regain their immortality again someday well. --74.184.197.28 (talk) 10:55, November 10, 2013 (UTC)

I hope the fraction won't be too big and we'll see other species as well. I'd say 1/4 of the species should be elves and I would be happy with that. Henio0 (talk) 02:54, November 12, 2013 (UTC)
