Okay, so we got 2 girls to be romanced in DA2 (Isabela and Cassandra) but what about romanceable boys? Have they comfirmed any guys that are gonna be romanceable? --Sencilia (talk) 12:43, November 24, 2010 (UTC)

I doubt that there are any males explained yet that are available to romance, considering the only two they've really high-lighted thus far are Varric and Hawke's brother... Kitoko Cousland (talk) 14:18, November 24, 2010 (UTC)

Erm... There's no confirmation about Cassandra, sinse it's very possible Hawke dosn't even meets her. She's listening to Varric telling the tale, and that's all as far as I know. There is a rather large and vocal group of people who want Varric to be a romance, but I don't think BioWare has said if he is or not. While he is a confirmed companion and Gaider has said in the past that he wants to do a dwarf romance, there hasn't really been an official announcement, though the writers do seem to like the idea. Depending on how you look at it the lack of confirmation could mean he won't be, or it could just mean it's not time for them to go into detail on the romance options (I'm betting on the latter).  ✪Aedan Cousland | Talk | Contr 16:25, November 25, 2010 (UTC)

I think everyone is forgetting Aveline, Wesley's wife. So okay, she's a widow, but so was Jaheira. I really hope to have the option to romance her (if she's nice, if not I'll chop off her head in case she bother's Bethany). The Bard From Hell (talk) 22:13, November 24, 2010 (UTC)

Well in any case there a lot of ideas coming from origins. I think Jowan should be a companion, since he was planned to be in the first. There's also an idea in my mind that, Loghain's lieutenant should be one as well. I know it sounds crazy but Jowan can escape from execution, and Cauthrien could be healed. And well while this is stupid, I'm all for Lloyd to return. I don't know why his character appeals to me, but the image of him killing the archdemon his hysterical to me! :D Iron Horse (talk) 14:44, November 25, 2010 (UTC)

Where did you get the idea Cassandra was a romanceable character? Like The Bard From Hell said, I was under the impression that Hawke never actually meets her. She just has an interest in the things he's done. IanFTW (talk) 15:39, November 25, 2010 (UTC)

She is interested in Hawke, but more in a "he is my key to save the world" sorta way not a "omg I want to get freaky with him" way. Now with that said it is only stated that she doesn't meet him before he becomes Champion.
