Okay, so we got 2 girls to be romanced in DA2 (Isabela and Cassandra) but what about romanceable boys? Have they comfirmed any guys that are gonna be romanceable? --Sencilia (talk) 12:43, November 24, 2010 (UTC)

I doubt that there are any males explained yet that are available to romance, considering the only two they've really high-lighted thus far are Varric and Hawke's brother... Kitoko Cousland (talk) 14:18, November 24, 2010 (UTC)

Erm... There's no confirmation about Cassandra, sinse it's very possible Hawke dosn't even meets her. She's listening to Varric telling the tale, and that's all as far as I know. So for now only Isabela. And Varric is yes a romanceble character, BW confirmed. The Bard From Hell (talk) 14:59, November 24, 2010 (UTC)

When did BioWare confirm Varric as a romance? I'd not seen that yet.  ✪Aedan Cousland | Talk | Contr 15:20, November 24, 2010 (UTC)
It was one of the first things said about Varric, wasn't it? I remember reading somewere on the wiki it was (or was it on a Bioware forum, can't remember now). The Bard From Hell (talk) 20:23, November 24, 2010 (UTC)
I too heard something about Varric as a romance, but I don't remember where or if it was actually confirmed. As for Cassandra... let us hope. --Xiorath (talk) 20:57, November 24, 2010 (UTC)
There is a rather large and vocal group of people who want Varric to be a romance, but I don't think BioWare has said if he is or not. While he is a confirmed companion and Gaider has said in the past that he wants to do a dwarf romance, there hasn't really been an official announcement, though the writers do seem to like the idea. Depending on how you look at it the lack of confirmation could mean he won't be, or it could just mean it's not time for them to go into detail on the romance options (I'm betting on the latter).  ✪Aedan Cousland | Talk | Contr 16:25, November 25, 2010 (UTC)

I think everyone is forgetting Aveline, Wesley's wife. So okay, she's a widow, but so was Jaheira. I really hope to have the option to romance her (if she's nice, if not I'll chop off her head in case she bother's Bethany). The Bard From Hell (talk) 22:13, November 24, 2010 (UTC)

Well in any case there a lot of ideas coming from origins. I think Jowan should be a companion, since he was planned to be in the first. There's also an idea in my mind that, Loghain's lieutenant should be one as well. I know it sounds crazy but Jowan can escape from execution, and Cauthrien could be healed. And well while this is stupid, I'm all for Lloyd to return. I don't know why his character appeals to me, but the image of him killing the archdemon his hysterical to me! :D Iron Horse (talk) 14:44, November 25, 2010 (UTC)

Cauthrien can be spared with high enough Coercion, so she may appear in a sequel. Bedding her, that's another story(but I want it!) The Bard From Hell (talk) 15:40, November 25, 2010 (UTC)

Where did you get the idea Cassandra was a romanceable character? Like The Bard From Hell said, I was under the impression that Hawke never actually meets her. She just has an interest in the things he's done. IanFTW (talk) 15:39, November 25, 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, just because someone exist dosn't means you can f*ck them! Especially if you never meet them (considering there were no telephone's and webcams in Thedas, that is). The Bard From Hell (talk) 15:42, November 25, 2010 (UTC)

I thought Cassandra was romanceable because I think i read somewhere that she's interested in Hawke. --Sencilia (talk) 02:14, November 26, 2010 (UTC)

She is interested in Hawke, but more in a "he is my key to save the world" sorta way not a "omg I want to get freaky with him" way. Now with that said it is only stated that she doesn't meet him before he becomes Champion. Given the timespan of the game I don't think it is too irrational to think she could meet him later. --Xiorath (talk) 03:41, November 26, 2010 (UTC)
I have to admit, I also thought she was a romanceable character because of that, but I still haven't read that she only wanted to know his story. I thought she was interested in join in his MAGICAL ADVENTURE!!!11one!!1 —Rocketai (Ho there! Chase my tail!) 18:26, December 23, 2010 (UTC)

I think people want Fenris to be romanceable. I'm sure I saw something about them wantng to see "how far the tattoos go". Also Cassandra is a Chantry Seeker so she's probably abstinent. (Not sure if I spelt that correctly). As for me, I just want to see Carver/Bethany have a romance option, or maybe have them as a love rival.

I think you're thinking of celibate which means you've vowed to stay "pure" so to speak. While I would agree that's likely the case, bigger oaths have been broken in DA:O. It could just be that you must harden her and then she becomes a romance option. That is if she's even in the game. --Xiorath (talk) 21:43, December 23, 2010 (UTC)
Well, I want them to make Fenris romanceable! He'd be my first romance, if they do. And, seeing as how I'll probably play through it more than once, I'd totally hit up Isabela, too...no matter what people said about her new face.  ;) -- Techwench talk  03:37, December 24, 2010 (UTC)

I don't really think Cautherian(sp?) would be in it since both my wardens (Lilly and Sophia) chopped off her head when she tried to prevent them from getting to the landsmeet. As far as my 3rd warden goes (Willow) I am not sure yet. She is a mage and has just made it out of Lothering ... I was hoping Fenris would be romancible. But it would be really weird for me since I don't have to option to make Hawke a elf. Hopefully they will announce them soon. 24.220.32.216 (talk) 21:19, December 23, 2010 (UTC)

I'm hoping for a female elf and/or dwarf romance; so far all the female romance options have been human.ChosenOfAsmodeus (talk) 20:26, December 26, 2010 (UTC)

"Yeah, just because someone exist dosn't means you can f*ck them!" Love that comment, anyway I don't think Cassandra will be a romanceable character because like someone said, she'l be more interested in saving the world or something. That does not mean Hawke wont meet her. You probably will by the end of the game as Varric will tell her where he/she is. Also im not sure they will put Varric as a romance as he does not seem the type to have a Human lover he will probably be more interested in a dwarf.
