I read the current list of known DA2 achievements and was wondering, one of them said that you must fully upgrade a companion's armour. Does this mean that you won't be able to buy new armour and will just have to upgrade a set piece? King of the Dusters (talk) 22:19, February 15, 2011 (UTC)

As far as I know companions will have their own unique armor, similar to how Morrigan had her uniqe robe in DA:O. This time though, you will not be able to exchange it for another piece of armor, instead you can buy/find upgrades to add to their armor during the course of the game. Hawke, on the other hand, will still equip armor just like you did in DA:O. - Kerethos (talk) 23:28, February 15, 2011 (UTC)

Does this also mean that light armor will be totally useless when you play as a warrior and heavy armor willl be useless when you play as a rogue or mage? --99.120.169.64 (talk) 00:10, February 19, 2011 (UTC)

No, your character can always change armor like in DA:O you can only upgrade your companions armor not yours. --Ryukoshu (talk) 01:13, February 19, 2011 (UTC)

but with no arcane warrior or anything, itd be stupid to make a mage or rogue that can use heavy armor. and with no more fatigue, warriors will have no use for lighter armors, so youll pretty much be throwing away the majority of the armor you get, right? --99.120.169.64 (talk) 02:45, February 19, 2011 (UTC)
