It's going to rather amusing how they're going to achieve this with the height difference between Dwarves and the other races, i think it's amusing because i keep thinking of Gimli duringthe LoTR Two Towers film trying to ride a horse. BlackDragon666 (talk) 22:52, May 16, 2014 (UTC)

Well there will be different types of mounts, I'm thinking they're gonna create a variety of different species for race suitability. But in my opinion, Dwarves don't look that weird on Horses, as long as the saddle is made to fit appropriately. But I recognise as to where you're getting it from. I think a Qunari is probably just going to ride a Shire horse, which are very much to regular horses what Qunari are to humans.

the Red Hart (it's not a halla) it actually quite tall. It's based off a Irish Elk which were were 7 feet tall or 2.133 meters at the shoulders and they're antlers were around 12 feet or 3.657 meters from tip to tip. So far there have only been confirmed horses and a hart. The unicorn thing appears to be a horse with a sword through its skull. I don't think there will be halla, at least not in the base game, maybe as a DLC. I may be wrong, but halla are used to pull the land ships, not for riding, aren't they? The Red Hart is actually a type of Halla, but that along with the others will only be available in DLC/Deluxe Edition of the game. The only confirmed mount for the base game so far is the regular horse. That's it. WhiteClaudia (talk) 20:51, May 19, 2014 (UTC)

David Gaider confirmed that the red hart is not in fact a halla. And why would it be, if a hart is a different species. It's like saying "blue horse cat". Makes no sense. The hart is a deer, not a halla. Henio0 (talk) 04:58, May 20, 2014 (UTC)

The same way a human would? Once you get onto the back and hold onto the reigns, it's pretty simple. I imagine there were dwarves in the Grey Wardens who rode them back in the heyday just as well as humans and elves. 67.61.234.198 (talk) 15:02, May 20, 2014 (UTC)
