I am thoroughly enjoying Dragonage, but sadly there are no ways to correct earlier mistakes.
I'd love to be able to clear my talent or spell choice mistakes (by using gold to reset spell choices) and the also to go back to Wade as say that I was a tight fisted git, and can I now pay you XX gold to convert my pathetic armour into Superior.
Sad but true. Some lessons you can't retrospectively learn I support......sigh!

This Manual of Focus - be careful as to how many points you have - you can lose the extra points acquired from tome purchases?

- I liked that mod for what it was worth, too, but last I checked, it was awfully buggy, which is pretty bad in an already buggy game. I do recommend this mod though. Don't be too sad about DAO "mistakes." DAO is made to be played more than once and in more ways than once. I really don't think there's a "wrong" way to play DAO. Even if you choose "bad" spells/talents, it only means that you get to try a playstyle that you may not otherwise. Example: I went through one playthrough as a DW/archer rogue who didn't put any points into specialization skills and only into weapon skills. It made for very interesting gameplay starting out combat by using scattershot then whipping out my daggers. --Rival grace 15:25, May 7, 2010 (UTC)
- Heh, after reading this, I wish I had kept my first ever character in DA, a mage that I had no idea how to play, and started going down the primal tree, then realizing how badly I needed a healer, started going down Creation.
