Yeah it really all depends on each individual's play style. If the main character is a mage then you will want to add another mage as a long-rage support/healer and of course a sword-board tank and a melee rogue for traps and lockpicking skills. So it all depends. I personally always go with a tank, melee rogue, support or long range rogue/mage, and an area damage mage to help your tank wreck shop on all the enemies attacking him. Its easiest to make your protagonist the tank but I think it is the most fun to make him a melee rogue or damage dealing mage. Thats just me though :)

I prefer to just choose my favourite characters so in my first playthrough i will choose the difficulty as normal or easy but if i had to choose a useful party on a more difficult level then it would be either mage(damager)-mage(healer and supporter)-warrior(sword and shield)-rogue or mage-warrior(sword and shield)-warrior-rogue, though i prefer the first one simply because i prefer mages.

I guess there is no "best party". It depends on you playstyle and difficulty level most likely. That said, I personally will propably go with a melee rogue myself, going into Shadow for Pinpoint and Predator and into Scoundrel for Blindside. Add in a mage and a ranged rogue to get rid of crap and a sword+board warrior to tank shit. That said I will propably play on Hard or Nightmare - more likely Hard on my first playthrough. 84.59.218.99 (talk) 12:44, March 8, 2011 (UTC)
