:: Yeah, but what is that actually. We know it can possibly fix an eluvian somehow, but I gotta admit I have a mental picture of an elven, big eared screwdriver or something. So I don't know. It drives me crazy that you can't reload after the credits and see what she gave you, if your character doesn't go through the mirror with her. Any thoughts on what it might be?

It's a cheeseburger--KarlGambolputty (talk) 22:57, March 24, 2011 (UTC)

Doesn't she give him a book? Well from what I recall it looks like she does. Flemeth's grimoire which tells of the story that will go down in 3? --124.189.84.253 (talk) 22:59, March 24, 2011 (UTC)

No, she gives him the book she stole from the dalish, AND a gift. Probably the kama sutra. It's gotta be the reason Leliana is back in the chantry and the warden is missing. The Grey Unknown (talk) 23:03, March 24, 2011 (UTC)

I like the cheeseburger idea... Bluemax87 (talk) 23:10, March 24, 2011 (UTC)

Im guessing Flemeths Grimoire. Cassandra had a weird book she read through during the interrogation, maybe there is a link? Subject 14 (talk) 23:14, March 24, 2011 (UTC)

I think it is the ability to have a Dragon at his side during battle, if you all know what I mean Deralyn Hawke (talk) 23:19, March 24, 2011 (UTC) Deralyn Hawke

Ignoring Occam's Razor, perhaps the gift was a spell. Perhaps she cures the Warden of being killed by the Taint. Allowing the Warden to have an old age (if not cut down sooner) and thus be able to reappear in Dragon Age 5 as a crazy old hermit/mentor archetype (ie old Obi-Wan). Either that or it's a cheeseburger. Or maybe a communicable disease. --Zambingo (talk) 23:22, March 24, 2011 (UTC)

I'm going with Flimith grimor in a tougne the warden could read.--IceStar100 (talk) 23:25, March 24, 2011 (UTC)

Possible gifts she could have given...

A) Some sort of skill-enhancing Tome
B) Similar to the Ring she gave, maybe she gave another accessory that was stronger (perhaps allows them to communicate?)
C) Some sort of token from OGB
D) Some sort of picture memorabilia of OGB (maybe not a picture per-se, but a painting, or an idol carved to look like him)
E) an STD
F) A CHEESEBURGER! haha

Haha, I like the cheeseburger and Kama Sutra ideas....but it probably is Flemeth's Grimoire, or some sort of special item/spell/ability that will be significant if they make a follow up storyline in DA3.

I have to disagree on the grimoire I'm afraid. Both of them were used as tools to direct Morrigan into certain actions. They may be useful, but Flemeth wanted both of them to be found by Morirgan. Face it, the amulet Hawke carries pretty much confirms Flemeth planned her "death" using the knowledge contained in the grimoires. The old witch wanted her daughter to do exactly what she ended up doing. The divergence is with the eluvian itself. Morrigan throws a wrench into Flemeth's plans at this point in some way. Coincidentally, this also seems the time where crap really starts to get bad in Kirkwall... So it would stand to reason the gift has something to do with the eluvian and what it really is, perhaps in regards to Flemeth. It's no coincidence she took the child through the mirror (if we took that route). She did so because it was the one place where her dear mother could not go. The gift is related. What about a arulin'holm? Bluemax87 (talk) 00:00, March 25, 2011 (UTC)
