I've been thinking. Hawke is supposed to be related to The Warden through her/his mother. I think personally that Hawke's mother is either sister to the warden or cousins, as I can think of no other was they could be related. If The Warden was Hawke's grandmother/father, and Leandras mother/father, that would be impossible, because Dragon age 2 is taking place at the exact same time as Dragon age: Origins, therefore theres no way that even in a 10 year period, that The Warden would be able to raise a child of the age of Hawke.

What are your thoughts on this? How do you think they are related?

Could be that the Warden is Mama Hawke's niece or nephew. Ghilan'nain 21:41 February 24, 2011 (UTC)

Their only related to the Human mage Warden, and I think they may be cousins because If he/she was the mothers brother/sister then this would have likly come up in dialogue. -Freedom4mage
