Hello,
I'm on my second playthrough and am trying to do this without my main character getting any injuries.
When I go to the Brecilian forest and enter than abandoned campsite my main character either falls asleep (taking an injury) or the Greater Shade does not appear.
I've tired swapping some party members about but he still falls asleep (warrior class with 25willpower 16 magic and no magic items to improve mental resistance) or stays awake with no shade ever appearing.
I'm quite keen to pick up the gloves and Dusk.
Does anyone have any suggestions to keep him awake and have the shade appear?

ive asked this question before and from what they told me, though your character (if not mage) was injured it wont affect your achievement and it wont really show up as injury. Lexecutionerlexecutioner
Ok thanks - I might leave it until right near the end of the game just incase (my character shows an injury in the heroic accomplishments so it worries me a little!)
--I went in, looked at one of the items, and then tried to leave. As you do, the facade disappears and the shade comes out. No injuries.
I've found that if you walk up to the campsite, but immediately leave (do not inspect ANYTHING) the Shade attacks and you can fight him with your whole party. (no one falls asleep).
