So far there have been 8 companions revealed, 3 of which were mages, 3 of which were warriors, and two of which were rogues. So it's guaranteed that the last companion to be revealed is also a rogue. What kind of character do you think they are? I suspect it will be somebody from an upper-class leadership background because most of the companions revealed so far appear to have a distaste for people in leadership who don't fight themselves, (i.e. Sera, Blackwall etc.) except for Vivienne. I think it would be pretty interesting if the last companion was a noble who passed off as a commoner i think that would be a cool character if they made them right WardenMaster (talk) 01:55, June 12, 2014 (UTC)

I'm worried it's gonna be Tallis. They went out of their way to make her a companion in MOTA and establish her as an Assassin, plus they bent the story to ensure her survival much like Corypheus, so I fully expect her to return. She dual wields, Assassin is the only one who hasn't been revealed yet, and so far we have 4 humans, 2 elves, and the token qunari and dwarf, very similar to Origins. This suggests a third elf, probably female since we have 3 women and 5 men. Furthermore, they've been unusually quiet about the 9th companion, probably because they fully expect the community to break a collective blood vessel over her, or at least cancel a shitload of preorders. Granted, I didn't dislike her (which apparently makes me a bad person), but I'm worried that revealing her to be the 9th will piss people off enough and give them a full summer to declare the game ruined forever. All evidence points to it being Cole from Asunder. (If you didn't read the book then this next sentence may be a spoiler) He's the Spirit/Demon thing that was killing mages in the White Spire and friend of Wynne's son, Rhys. The Dread Wolf 03:01, June 12, 2014 (UTC)

Has it ever been stated that there's a returning character from asunder as a companion? i like the balance of 3/3/3 3 warriors 3 mages and 3 rogues it's good it just be weird to have a 4/3/2 or 3/4/2 3 is a good number WardenMaster (talk) 03:12, June 12, 2014 (UTC)

There was a link on the Dragon Age: Inquisition page that stated a character from Asunder would be a companion. Also, the companion classes would be balanced since Cole has been described using daggers and would in fact fit the dual-wielding rogue's description we've seen so far in the group shots with his sandy blonde hair.--KrimzonStriker (talk) 04:12, June 12, 2014 (UTC)
