The Fort Connor is a fortress build on the King's Highway in Hinterlands.

Background Edit

The fort was built in the early years of Dragon Age by Eamon Guerrin, the recently appointed Arl of Redcliffe following the city's liberation from the Orlesian occupation. He built it to show the freed Fereldans that Redcliffe is an example of strength they should have. The fort helped keep peace on the King's Highway. Eamon claimed that nothing short of magic can destroy the fort, and he was right, as it was damaged only by darkspawn emmisaries during the Fifth Blight.

Arl Eamon named the fort in honour of his father, a man named Connor. He also named his son in his name.[1][2]
