Far Song is a unique dragonthorn longbow in Dragon Age: Origins, one of the best ranged weapons available. It costs 120 50 0.

Acquisition

Far Song can be purchased from Redcliffe Village's new blacksmith, who only appears if the Warden brings blacksmith Owen bad news regarding the quest Lost in the Castle. Owen will be replaced by the new blacksmith the next time you enter the village.

Note that causing the blacksmith to be replaced will make certain other items (that would appear in Owen's inventory after Lost in the Castle is completed) unavailable.

There is also another way of getting this bow instead of spending around 130 Gold Sovereigns...

You have to get Leliana's Companion Quest You get that nou at some point in that quest for free. To be able to do that quest you have to listen to her, make her like you (make the love bar go up) and then after a few trips someone will try to kill her... if you get the info out of them, they will trigger lelianas companion Quest. im sure there is a tutorial for that in here.
