Far Afield is a side quest in Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening. It is received from the Private in the courtyard of Vigil's Keep. A farmer and her family are under threat from darkspawn. She has promised to put in a good word with Lord Eddelbrek if you can protect them.

Walkthrough

After accepting this quest, the Turnoble Estate will appear on your world map. When The Warden-Commander arrives they find the family dead, but the quest can still be completed by killing all the darkspawn.

Note: There is no way to save the family. They are always dead upon arrival.

Rewards

  • 500 XP
  • Random amount of gold and random items from remains
