Fade Wall is a powerful heavy shield in Dragon Age: Origins. It is a possible reward from the Unbound side quest.
Aquisition
Fade Wall has a chance of appearing on Gaxkang's body if the Warden defeats him at the end of Unbound. The chance is reportedly better when playing on a harder difficulty setting. It is, of course, possible to wear Gaxkang down on Casual and then switch to Nightmare when he's almost finished.

Fade Wall is quite powerful, but unfortunately there is a bug effectively rendering the +X% to healing effects received modifier useless.
