Eyes of the Maker is a war table operation in Dragon Age: Inquisition.

Acquisition

This operation becomes available upon completing the main quest Champions of the Just and selecting the Chantry Garden major upgrade.

Operation text

A report by one of Leliana's agents has given rise to concern: a group of Orlesian nobles has quietly formed a group they call "Eyes of the Maker." The aims of the group are currently unknown, but the suspicion is that it's a reaction to the Inquisition's dealing with the Chantry. One stolen letter indicates (in coded language) that the Inquisition's treatment of clerics following the death of the Divine has been "shameful" and deserving of reprisal.

Advisor suggestions

Note: The time listed is the time it takes with no agents.

Josephine - 4:00:00

I suggest we send them a message, asking to meet, with a guarantee of safe passage. I'd like to hear what they want.

Leliana - 4:00:00

I would suggest a thorough investigation, although it will take time. I'm unconvinced this is more than posturing.

Cullen - 3:12:00

Deal with this now, forcefully, before these nobles grow in power.

Josephine

Most interesting. Approaching a few nobles we thought associated with the Eyes of the Maker prompted a quick reaction: frightened denials that they would even consider involvement, and fingers pointed to a man by the name of Lord Benoit Gelinaux as the mastermind behind it all. I met with him, and within ten minutes his zealotry crumbled into mumbled apologies and offerings of "gifts" to the Inquisition as apology. So much for the mighty Chantry reprisal. Josephine

Leliana

My investigation into the Eyes of the Maker proved my first assumption true: it's not a true organization at all, but the product of a single zealous nobleman trying (and thus far failing) to recruit opponents to the Inquisition by making his group sound previously established. A single strike into the manse of one Lord Benoit Gelinaux has ensured this goes no further. My agents recovered some goods which Lord Benoit was undoubtedly planning to use as bribes. Leliana

Cullen

Leliana's agents supplied my men with four names; Inquisition soldiers visited all four the same afternoon. Three arrests and one death later, every nobleman in Orlais who had even heard of the Eyes of the Maker recanted any involvement. I'm told a tiny little fellow by the name of Lord Benoit Gelinaux frantically offered "Gifts for the Herald of Andranste" as a form of apology... or so I assume. The soldier reports the man fled for the Anderfels that very evening. Cullen.
