Evelina is a character featured in Dragon Age II.

Background

Evelina is originally from Ferelden. She was trained at the Ferelden Circle of Magi for eight years before the Fifth Blight. When the blight began, she fled to the Free Marches. Along the way, she rescued groups of children orphaned by the blight and brought them with her to Kirkwall. After settling into Darktown with the children, she took herself to the Circle in Kirkwall, thinking that they would help the children. Instead, they locked her up as an apostate and did nothing for her adopted family. After six or so years of this, she and a number of other mages destroyed their phylacteries and broke out. A group of Templars pursued her but she was able to kill some of them. Upon realising what she had done, she fled into the sewers.

She can be found in Act Two of the storyline next to Tomwise begging for money. You dont gain anything for giving her money or not.

Evelina is involved in the quest On The Loose. Prior to this, she can be found in Darktown begging for coins. After Knight-Commander Meredith asks Hawke to retrieve three magi that have escaped the Circle, Hawke will follow Evelina's trail to Darktown. There, Hawke will meet a young man named Walter and a young boy named Cricket. Walter will tell Hawke that Evelina saved him, Cricket, and a number of other child refugees. He will then inadvertently tell Hawke that Evelina went into the sewers. Once down there, Hawke will find Walter and Cricket trying to warn, but instead find her to be an Abomination. She then dies following a fight.
