Enduring Cloak is a mage ability upgrade from the Knight-Enchanter specialization tree in the Trespasser DLC for Dragon Age: Inquisition.
Information[]
- Upgrades Fade Cloak
Mechanics[]
Duration[]
- Increases Fade Cloak duration by up to an additional 2.97 seconds depending on the number of Spirit Blade charges. The lower the charges, the longer Fade Cloak lasts. More precisely, the additional duration in seconds is equal to (-1 * Spirit Blade charges + 100) / 100 * 3. For example:
- At maximum charges, 99, duration is negligibly increased by (-1 * 99 + 100) / 100 * 3 = 0.03 seconds
- At 45 charges, duration is increased by (-1 * 45 + 100) / 100 * 3 = 1.65 seconds
- At minimum charges, 1, duration is increased by (-1 * 1 + 100) / 100 * 3 = 2.97 seconds
- With sufficient cooldown reduction and Enduring Cloak, Fade Cloak can be sustained indefinitely.
- Cooldown can be reduced by up to -46.4%, from 12 second to 6.432 second, through use of Combat Clarity or Winter Stillness (mutually exclusive) in combination with the Master Cooldown Amulet.
- Gathering Storm and Clean Burn can further reduce cooldowns. (Note: the Blade of Tidarion does not trigger Gathering Storm).
- Fade Cloak's base duration of 2 seconds is increased by 2.97 seconds with Enduring Cloak, at minimum charges, for a total of 4.97 seconds. (Amplified Blade can be used here to expend all Spirit Blade charges quickly, keeping charges low.)
- A 6.432 - 4.97 = 1.462 second window exists between continual casts of Fade Cloaks where the Knight-Enchanter is not invulnerable. With Gathering Storm and/or Clean Burn, this 1.462 second window can be entirely removed.
