In Dragon Age: Inquisition, elven artifacts are found in locations around Ferelden and Orlais. When activated they strengthen the Veil in the immediate area.

Introduction

The player is introduced to the artifacts during Solas' companion quest Measuring the Veil, however the artifacts can be found and interacted with before that quest is completed.

At the top of the north tower in Lornan's Keep, Hinterlands
In a shack just SSW of Redcliffe Farms Camp, Hinterlands
In the Main Chamber of the Still Ruins, Western Approach
Inside the Tomb at Sunstop Mountains, at the utmost bottom of the scaffolding, Hissing Wastes
In the main chamber of Solasan, Forbidden Oasis
In the Lost Temple of Dirthamen
One in Old Crestwood
On the shore line just outside of Old Crestwood
In the Flooded Caves- Deepest Tier in the room across the hall from the Rift

Approval

If Solas is in the party when an artifact is found and activated, he Slightly Approves.
