Elva is a bitter elven woman encountered during the City Elf Origin.

InvolvementEdit

This section contains spoilers for:
Dragon Age: Origins.

If the Warden speaks with her, she expresses bitter contempt due to Cyrion getting an attractive fiancée for the Warden, whereas her arranged husband is "a fat old man." Later, when the guard captain arrives to arrest the elves responsible for the attack on the estate, if Soris and the Warden refuse to step forward, she will rat them out to the guards.

Elva's fate is revealed by speaking to two elven women during Unrest in the Alienage. They will say, "Elva got the plague. Good riddance I say." and, "I can't believe Elva died of the plague. I thought she'd be too ornery to die."

QuotesEdit

  • Elva: "Your father has the money to get you a great match. Meanwhile, what did I get? A fat, old man who smells like the docks and wouldn't know what to do with a woman even if he was sober."
  • Warden: "So you're insane. I get it."
  • Elva: "You think you're better than me? Well you're not! I may have got a poor match, but at least I've got some dignity. Wench."
