Ella is an apprentice mage of the Kirkwall Circle of Magi.
Involvement[]
If Bethany joins the Circle, Ella is one of the apprentices that she starts mentoring.[1]
Ella is also involved in the quest Dissent. She's run away from the Circle in an attempt to see her mother, who hasn't been told of her whereabouts. In the Gallows Dungeon, Hawke and Anders find Ser Otto Alrik threatening to turn Ella into a Tranquil to force her compliance. After killing Ser Otto and his fellow templars, a Justice-controlled Anders attempts to kill Ella as well, believing her to be "one of them" for calling him a demon. Unless Hawke intervenes, Justice kills Ella. Either way, Anders regains control shortly after and flees the scene.
