Druffalo have been domesticated, though there are still wild populations. The domestic druffalo is far less aggressive than their wild counterparts. Wild druffalo are known for being territorial, and will become hostile towards anything they deem to be encroaching on their space. They are considered more dangerous than bronto.

It is estimated that approximately half of all druffalo are domesticated. Domesticated druffalo are commonly used as beasts of burden on farms, pulling plows and doing draft work. They also see use as a source of meat and hide, with druffalo leather used to make items such as clothing or saddles.[2]
