Operation text[edit | edit source]

Commander Cullen,

The Darkspawn at Val Gamord came from the mountains. I am shocked that such a sizable host reached the surface without alerting the Orlesian military. Perhaps the Civil War distracted Orlais in the same way that the Calling distracted the Wardens.

Regardless of the cause, the Darkspawn are here, and in massive numbers. I have begun preparing the troops.

Advisor suggestions[edit | edit source]

Note: The time listed is the time it takes with no agents.

Josephine - 1:00:00[edit | edit source]

Such a force is beyond the Inquisition's strength. We must draw on Orlesian allies and attack the Darkspawn with a united force.

Leliana - N/A[edit | edit source]

Not participating in this mission.

Cullen - 0:48:00[edit | edit source]

We have little choice in the matter. The Darkspawn will spread unless we strike now.

Results[edit | edit source]

Josephine[edit | edit source]

Commander Cullen,

The Orlesian nobles Ambassador Montilyet convinced to assist us provided a number of foot soldiers and not a few chevaliers as well. With their assistance, we were able to drive the darkspawn back from Val Gamord and into the mountains, where we cut down any creatures still above ground.

The tunnels from which the darkspawn emerged appear to be recent, someone in Val Gamord was digging, though it is unclear why.

I am pleased to report that several of the nobles were so impressed by the Inquisition's courage that they pledged their own soldiers to our cause.

Cullen[edit | edit source]

Commander Cullen,

If you are reading this message, the Darkspawn force was too powerful for us, and we were overwhelmed.

If you would please see that my daughter receives my training sword, I would be most grateful.

It has been an honor to serve.

Lieutenant Suzanne Cloche-Sec

Orlesian Military forces have compensated the Inquisition for the loss of its troops.
