Devouring corpses are held by hunger demons and feed upon the living.

The devouring corpse possesses a ravenous appetite and will seek to feed on any living thing it finds. Many of these creatures have also demonstrated the ability to drain the very life force from their opponents.

Background[edit | edit source]

BioWare canon.png
The following characters, lore and events in this section are non-canon in Dragon Age and exist only within the Dragon Age tabletop RPG.

Hideous ravenous creatures, devouring corpses tend to congregate and attack en masse, seeking to consume any living beings they can reach. Their voracious appetite for flesh is endless and their hunger for life is so powerful that some devouring corpses have even shown the ability to drain their opponents’ life forces merely by being in close proximity. Devouring corpses typically eschew weapons, preferring to tear their victims apart and chew on the bloody chunks as swiftly as possible.[1]

Strategy[edit | edit source]

They seem to be highly resistant to cold attacks, but can still be frozen. They dual wield claw-like weapons, one claw attached to each hand.

All devouring corpses can cast Drain Life to heal themselves (though not always tactically).
