Devon is a lord in the Tevinter Imperium involved in procuring slaves for the Imperium from the southern regions of Thedas.

Background Edit

He was the Felicisima Armada's procurer of slaves. When Isabela decided to enter the slave trafficking business in order to pay her debts, Devon was also onboard her ship. Isabela indicates that even if she wasn't fond of Devon, they used to be lovers for a while.

However, before they reach Tevinter, the Orlesian Navy found the Siren's Call in the Venefication Sea and started chasing them down. Devon had packed the holds tightly and Isabela failed to outmaneuver the Orlesians; they had to throw the chained slaves to the ocean in order to escape.

Involvement Edit

Devon killed by Isabela

Devon killed by Isabela

Devon is introduced by Maevaris Tilani at a ball in Qarinus. Isabela, who was the only one who knew him from the past, feels very annoyed with his presence. Devon in his turn is surprised that she is alive. In a conversation "eye-to-eye", he mentions that Isabela owes him and threatens to reveal to Alistair what happened at the Venefication Sea. She intimidates him into silence by drawing out her dagger.

When the fighting starts, a minion of Aurelian Titus wounds him while trying to escape. Isabela knocks Devon's assailant unconscious to the floor, but as he is muttering thanks, she stabs Devon in his chest. When Alistair, Varric and Maevaris arrive, she claims that he was killed by Titus' minion.

Trivia Edit

  • He is the only known noble from Tevinter who does not possess magical skills.
