Daerwin's Mouth is an ancient dwarven port which once connected the nearby thaigs to the Waking Sea. It is located in the north western portion of the Storm Coast.

Background Edit

In ancient times the subterranean port served as a popular meeting place for ambassadors from Tevinter Imperium and Orzammar and was favored by the dwarves who avoided the surface because of their connection to the Stone. The large statue at Morrin's Outlook used to serve as a marker for incoming ships coming to trade with the dwarves.[1] After the darkspawn incursions started closing on Orzammar, the dwarves sealed the underground routes leading to the port. Since then bandits, pirates and smugglers started using the port for their own purposes.[2]

Involvement Edit

This section contains spoilers for:
Dragon Age: Inquisition.

In 9:41 Dragon, a number of boats with Templar Order insignia have washed up along the shores of the Storm Coast, eventually leading the Inquisition to realize that the Red Templars had repurposed the base for themselves.
