Cyrion Tabris is the father of the City elf and head of the Tabris family, and only appears in a City Elf playthrough. He is also uncle to Shianni and Soris.

Background

Cyrion was once married to an elf named Adaia, a skilled warrior or rogue (dependant on the warden's class) who trained their child, but was subsequently killed by human guards. He spent many years as a servant in Bann Rodolf's Denerim estate. Soris also describes him as being wealthy as he is able to buy the City Elf an attractive and able husband or wife.

Involvement

This section contains spoilers for:
Dragon Age: Origins.

Cyrion plays a minor role in the City Elf Origin, congratulating the City elf and giving him or her Adaia's Boots. He can also be convinced to allow Nessa to board with him.

Cyrion will appear again in the Unrest in the Alienage quest during the Landsmeet. He has been taken by the slavers and the City Elf Warden has the option to save him, or allow him to be killed as part of Caladrius' blood ritual. If the Warden is not a City Elf, Elder Valendrian will be there instead of Cyrion. If Cyrion is there, Valendrian will have already been shipped off by the slavers. He mentions that it was his many years of experience as a servant at Bann Rodolf's estate which made the Tevinters take him as a slave.

If the Warden did not accept Vaughan's offer in the origin story, he will give the City elf Warden the dagger, Fang, after he has been rescued.

Furthermore, Cyrion will appear at the palace at the end of the game, if the Warden is a City Elf and survived the battle with the Archdemon.

If the City Elf Warden makes the ultimate sacrifice, he is made First Bann of the alienage by either Anora or Alistair, dependent on who ends up on the throne.
