Corpse Whispering is a type of Necromancy magic that is used by Mortalitasi to commune with the deceased, by temporarily reanimating physical remains.
The practice is not easily mastered, and on certain corpses, such as those who died in unfortunate circumstances or those with secrets to hide, it can be difficult to maintain conversation. Generally, only skilled necromancers have this ability.

Emmrich Volkarin uses the practice to revive a dead cult victim to discover where the rogue necromancer is operating from, and a deceased Zara Renata on behalf of fellow Veilguard companion Lucanis Dellamorte. He also uses it throughout the Grand Necropolis, in order to find out where potential disruptions or issues are located.
