Combat Training unlocks the corresponding tiered weapon talents. All warriors start with at least one rank in this skill. In addition, if the player chooses the Human Noble or Dwarf Noble origins, they will automatically start with two ranks in this skill as a warrior, or one rank as a rogue.

Each rank of combat training allows a mage to take 10 additional points of damage without being interrupted during spell casting. For example, a mage with 3 ranks of Combat Training can take 5 + (3 * 10) + (Level / 2) points of damage without being interrupted.
