Champions and Captains is an Act 3 companion quest for Aveline in Dragon Age II.
Catch up with Aveline at the barracks in the Keep.

Walkthrough[]
Head to the Viscount's Keep and talk with Aveline.
If Aveline married Donnic, Hawke can ask about their honeymoon in Orlais, though when pressed for information, Aveline will simply refuse to comment with a smile.
When asked about how the guard was faring, she will state that although there have been a few complaints, most of Kirkwall are appreciative of her efforts in keeping order and keeping the city guard stable for the past few years.
If Aveline did not marry Donnic, she states that many in the guard are unhappy about her leadership but she dismisses their complaints and reminds them that injury and death rates among the guard are less under her command.
She will also mention that as long as there is no Viscount, the templars think they "can bark" at the city guards.
The conversation is very short and results in no approval changes.

- If Merrill is in your party when you ask "How was the honeymoon?", she will ask about it once more and then realize that she already knows the answer.
- All other companions except Sebastian will also comment about the honeymoon.
