Cave Crawling is a secondary quest in Dragon Age II during Act 2.
Acquisition
Travel to The Bone Pit during Act 2 and talk to Jansen. This quest will only become available after completing the Inside Job quest.
Walkthrough
After speaking with Jansen, collect the Petrified Human Finger from a sack south of the mine entrance to begin the Wentworth's Sixth Finger side quest. Also, travel to the northeast part of the map to find Glitterdust.
Upon entry, you'll find a Queen Spider accompanied by several other spiders. Kill everything and return to Jansen.
If you explore the outside area of the Bone Pit you can find a Glitterdust and a cave entrance for an Evil Tome and a Corrupted Lyrium. Also, there is a complex locked chest to the left of Jansen(30 Cunning to open - 150 XP).
Result
Prerequisite to Cavern of Dead quest.
Rewards
- (about) 260 XP(for the fight) and 1000 XP(quest completion).
Notes
- Going up the stairs when you first enter will reveal Corrupted Lyrium and a lootable Crate.
- The Queen Spider can be easily kited out of range on the ledge where the Corrupted Lyrium is looted.
- If you are seeking the Supplier achievement, be sure to grab the Lyrium from the aforementioned ledge.
