Blood mages are the wielders of the arcane who fuel their sorcery using the power derived from life forces, as opposed to mana. The art of blood magic is forbidden by the Circles, and using them can result in automatic execution. They are automatically qualified as apostates and are the prime targets for the templars, due to their tremendous powers.
