Walkthrough
While on the Blackpowder Promise quest at Dead Man's Pass, the right path from the origin point has an uphill branch path. There is a corpse with a minor amulet as well as a document “Caste Treatise and House Accounting”. From the description, this might belong to upper caste dwarves of a traditionalist bent. This launches a new side quest to locate the dwarf owners, but the description includes the clue that they are rarely found outside Hightown if they visit Kirkwall at all. A “leave this area” nexus is just around the corner to make this easy. Return the document in Hightown Merchant's Guild square to the Traditionalist Envoy.
