Caravan Down is a quest received from the Chanter's Board in Redcliffe Village. The Chantry would like someone to investigate the fate of a caravan, and return with any news.

Unfortunate news has arrived that the darkspawn have extended their incursion into areas previously thought safe for travel. A runner from a border caravan brings word that they unknowingly passed into infested territory and were being tracked by several unseen creatures. He was dispatched to seek help, and does not know the fate of his fellows, or the viability of the trade route.
Travelers in the area are urged to be cautious. Any with the ability to rescue or determine the status of the troubled group will be rewarded.
Walkthrough
After accepting the quest, the Caravan location is added to the World map. Travel there to find the merchants of the caravan are already dead, killed by the darkspawn who remain in the area. Kill the darkspawn, and then return to a Chantry representative to report the loss of the caravan and collect your reward.

Notes
- This quest's location can no longer be entered after updating the quest and leaving.
- This quest's location is required for the Traveler achievement. The world map reads "Caravan," however it becomes "Forest Meadow" upon entering.
