Breeding Grounds is a side quest in Dragon Age: Inquisition

As if the red templar occupation wasn't enough, dragons have moved into the region. So far, only a few high dragons have been spotted: a Hivernal, a Kaltenzahn and a Highland Ravager. But if they breed, the presence of these unique and powerful beasts could prove an even greater threat to the local population than the templars.

Acquisition Edit

Obtained by speaking with Baron Edouard Desjardins once Suledin Keep has been captured in Emprise du Lion. The war table operation Restore Judicael's Crossing must also be completed. Edouard gives several quests so it may be necessary to speak with him a few times.

Walkthrough Edit

See High Dragon icon Hivernal.
See High Dragon icon Kaltenzahn.
See High Dragon icon Highland Ravager.

Rewards Edit

  • Experience gained is by killing dragons, the quest itself rewards no significant gain.
  • Learn More about Dragons operation available at the war table if the Inquisitor has completed this quest and recruited Frederic of Serault. Otherwise this will not appear.

Notes Edit

  • If one of the dragons is killed, the quest cannot be started or finished and Baron Desjardins will have a permanent quest marker attached to him on the map.
  • Independently of completing the quest, the dragons block the way to a landmark and an Ocularum, preventing those quests from coming to completion.
