Characteristics

With powerful runes (like Rune of Devastation and Primeval Lyrium Rune for example), this sword is one of the best physical damage weapons for a weapon and shield warrior; however, elemental weapons such as Glandivalis still tend to outperform this sword due to how elemental weapons ignore enemy armor.

The sword has a 5% chance to knock back as if the target received a forceful attack without good fortitude, and works on any enemy (even on massive enemies like Golems or Ogres). The knockback chance can be increased further by Sandal's Special Rune.
