Biting Thumb is a ring in Dragon Age: The Veilguard.

Acquisition

• Chest in Dock Town's Razikale Walk, first accessible during The Smuggled Relic Case. Take the path to the left from the Temple of Andraste's entrance (going north) to go around on an outside path. The small chest is up against the wall as the path cuts off to go right/east.
• Shadow Dragons Faction Shop: Rank 2
• Wisp merchant substituting for the Shadow Dragons faction shop, if Minrathous was not saved. This instance is available even if the ring was previously purchased from the faction shop.
• Another chest in Dock Town's Razikale Walk, accessible after Shadows of Minrathous. It's located in a locked room near the Temple of Andraste, but requires one to access it via Urthemiel's Venue district. Here, there's a wooden platform in the northwest where one can use Spite's Reach to reach the lower walkway on the other side. Cross over and go right and follow this path to the room.
• Reward for completing Cornered in the Catacombs
• During The Soul of a City, in a chest in the Spillway Ground in Dock Town. This quest is available only if Minrathous was saved.
