Bear Shape is a mage spell from the Shapeshifter specialization in Dragon Age: Origins.

Information

In Bear form, the shapeshifter gains +10 armor. No nature resistance bonus is gained.
Abilities gained include: Slam and Rage. Abilities gained with Master Shapeshifter also include: Overwhelm. See 'Abilities' below for more information.
Conjuration time: 2s.

Notes

While in Shapeshift form no other abilities can be active.
Upkeep is in Mana.
Arcane Warrior Spellcasting: The spell can be cast with weapon(s) drawn.

Slam

Cooldown: 20s
Requires: Bear Shape / Summon Bear

The bear slams the target. If the attack hits, it deals critical damage and knocks the target down unless it passes a physical resistance check.

Rage

Activated
Range: Personal
Activation: 5
Cooldown: 60s
Requires: Bear Shape / Summon Bear

The bear becomes enraged, gaining bonus to damage for a short time.

Overwhelm

Activated
Range: Personal
Activation: 15
Cooldown: 60s
Requires: Spider Shape / Bear Shape

and Master Shapeshifter

The spider/bear leaps upon its target, pinning it to the ground and attack it repeatedly.
