Avvar Allies is a main quest from the Jaws of Hakkon DLC for Dragon Age: Inquisition.
Making contact with the Avvar hold to the east could provide the Inquisition with useful allies.

The quest is triggered after traveling to the Frostback Basin and completing Jaws of Hakkon.
Walkthrough[]

- Wait for the climb to finish
- Speak with the Hold's Leader
Professor Bram Kenric mentions that a friendly Avvar settlement can be found in the east of the Frostback Basin. Stone-Bear Hold is located in the extreme east of the Basin and can only be reached by climbing the cliffside path from the swamp below. As the Inquisitor arrives they find a climbing contest between two avvar in progress while a crowd cheers from below. Standing next to the platform will allow the Inquisitor to listen in on the conversation between the two Avvar Thanes as they watch. After the contest is over, speak to Gurd Harofsen; the leader of the Jaws of Hakkon and then to Thane Svarah Sun-Hair to complete the quest.
