Assault on Griffon Wing Keep is a side quest in Dragon Age: Inquisition.

Venatori have occupied an isolated keep in the Western Approach, a key outpost on the treacherous trip to Adamant. It would be of great benefit to the Inquisition to capture it and drive the Venatori from the area.

Acquisition

The quest is acquired when asking Frederic to "tell [me] of this place."

Walkthrough

Griffon Wing Keep is found north-west of Craggy Ridge Camp.

The Inquisitor may bash through the main keep gate (it will yield Sad Splinters), or enter through a cave (Outpost Well) on the south side of the keep. The cave is protected by a spirit-based barrier, but contains a well, and its bucket can be used to access the keep's courtyard without alarming the guards.

Note: The cave also contains a claimable Landmark (The Old Well), and a Mosaic piece.

Once inside, the Inquisitor will have to defeat multiple group of Venatori troops lead by Macrinus, in order to claim the keep (by placing the Inquisition flag on the keep's flagpole). The keep is then turned into an Inquisition keep, lead by Knight-Captain Rylen.

• Secure a Source of Water for Outpost

• Kitty's Collar - Looted from Macrinus (requires Patch 10)
• Sad Splinters - Obtained when the gate door is destroyed.
